Our speed limit device (SLD) "NC80" is one of the most advanced devices of this type. The SLD NC80 is a fully universal device – one device will virtually fit any vehicle , from a family cars up to heavy trucks or buses, regardless of the type of accelerator pedal (electronic or mechanical), the presence or absence of a speed sensor or CAN-line. In accordance with the requirements of the UN global regulations, the principle of operation of the SLD NC80 is based solely on limiting the supply of fuel to the engine. The device successfully passed type approval procedure was carried out on the SLD NC80 and E-mark homologation certifacates were granted. During its operation the SLD NC80 does not use any of the vehicle's braking systems. The SLD NC80 has a built-in accelerometer, up to 4 digital inputs, RS 232, CAN- BUS adapter and more. The SLD NC80 can control the accelerator pedal, fuel valve, throttle valve of the car, disable cruise control.

Also, the SLD NC80 will limit the maximum speed in case the vehicle is overloaded, up to 0 km/h, if the overload is critical. When driving on a rough road, the SLD NC80 will also automatically reduce the vehicle's speed to a safe one, and will keep this minimum limit until the vehicle reaches a flat road surface. If a vehicle is used by several drivers, among whom there are inexperienced ones, then if such inexperienced drivers get behind the wheel of this car, the SLD NC80 will limit the maximum speed (for example, to 80 km/h) during the entire driving time of particular driver.

The SLD NC80 can work as an executive device, receiving commands from external devices such as: GPS tracker, DSM-ADAS equipment, body position sensors, etc., SLD NC80 physically limits the speed of the car to a set value in accordance with the implemented scenario. The SLD NC80, when integrated with external master devices, actually becomes a third-level ISA.
he SLD NC80 can also operate independently, setting the maximum vehicle speed depending on the situation. For example, the SLD NC80 will limit the speed to 0 km/h and turn off the accelerator pedal if the engine oil level drops below critical value, or if the driver or passenger forgets to fasten their seat belt.

USB adapter for configuring and parameterizing SLD "NC80"

The device operates on command from the speed limit device and is designed to limit the fuel supply to the high-pressure pump on diesel vehicles that are not equipped with an electronic accelerator pedal. The valve consists of a brass valve mechanism and an electromagnetic coil enclosed in a plastic housing, and the kit also includes brass fittings (on one side a thread in the valve, on the other side a herringbone in the hose) with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 66 mm. The valve has two fuel channels – the main one with a diameter of 4 mm and an additional one with a diameter of 1 mm. The main channel is usually opened and closed by means of a valve controlled by an electromagnetic relay. The cross-section of the additional channel is manually adjusted using a screw valve. The electromagnetic relay operates from 12 or 24 volts DC (the operating voltage must be specified when ordering).

Fuel valve 24 or 12 volt

A stepper motor with a set of cable rods and special brackets. It is used in conjunction with a speed limit device on cars with a carburetor in the absence of an electronic accelerator pedal. The cable tie rod is attached to the throttle and closes it at the command of the speed limit device. It operates from the vehicle's on-board power supply at a voltage of 12/24 volts.
